Russia resumes diesel oil supply to Ukraine through pipeline

Around 140 thousand tons can be pumped in March

Diesel oil supplies from Russia to Ukraine were resumed last week. This was reported by Interfax. Rosneft formalized all necessary documents and pumping has been resumed.

“Around 140 thousand tons can be pumped in March,” Transneft press secretary Igor Dyomin said.

At the same time, Transneft never supplied oil products through pipelines to Belarus. Diesel oil were transited through Belarus to Ukraine, according to him.

Earlier it was reported that Russia halted pipeline supplies of diesel fuel to Ukraine. Supplies were suspended on February 8, 2017.

The press service of Russian Energy Ministry announced that "the country did not have intergovernmental agreements on oil supplies to Hungary and Ukraine, and deliveries of diesel fuel in these areas are carried out by business entities based on economic feasibility."
