Russia has introduced temporary restrictions for flights over Crimea and the Black Sea from April 20 until April 24 as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing NOTAM.

“The region is announced as temporarily dangerous for flights of aircraft,” the message said.

According to the coordinates, the air space will be closed over the south area of Crimea (from Sevastopol to Feodosia), waters adjacent to the South Coast of Crimea and part of the international waters of the Black Sea.

Earlier, Russia will close off the Kerch Strait for warships and state vessels of other countries. This ban will last until October 2021.

Besides, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell stated about the risk of further escalation at the border of Ukraine, where Russia has deployed over 100,000 soldiers.
