Russia will attempt to influence the results of the presidential and parliamentarian election in 2019. Oleksandr Turchynov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) claimed this as 112 Ukraine reported.

"Today, one of their (special service of Russia) priorities is the inner destabilization of the situation. Certainly, they will try to influence the results of the presidential and parliamentarian elections but we do not exclude the active combat actions against our country when they will see that other forms bring no result," he said.

Moreover, according to Turchynov, the Russian Federation prepares for the combat actions in Donbas and can begin them every moment.

"Today we know all positions of the Armed Forces of Russia along with our border; they prepare them for the active combat actions. Another issue is when it can be used, when they can begin the large-scale provocation. We should be ready every day. At the same time, the concentration of the forces on the east and south of our country shows that Russia does not withdraw the aggressive military pressure on Ukraine from the agenda," he emphasized.
