Russia has added to the lists of Ukrainian citizens who are subject to economic sanctions. This became known from the decree of the government of the Russian Federation of August 31, 2020 No. 1332 "On Amending Appendix No. 1 to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1300 of November 1, 2018".
In particular, the amendments to the document relate to the additions of clauses that imply sanctions against a number of Ukrainian citizens and companies, with new names, among which, in particular, the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, as well as the current members of his party "European Solidarity" Yana Zinkevich, Mykhailo Zabrodsky , Sofia Fedina, former head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Oleh Sinyutka. Also, the former leader of the Holos party, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, and his fellow party member, the current MP Serhiy Rakhmanin, were added to the sanctions list of the Russian Federation. In addition, Olha Stefanishina, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, was also included in the Russian "black lists".
In total, the document mentions several dozen names of former and current Ukrainian politicians, including Stepan Kubiv, Valentin Nalyvaichenko, Oleksiy Kucherenko, Iryna Sovsun, Iryna Lutsenko and others.
