Representatives of the Russian Federation to the humanitarian and economic subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group on settlement of the situation in Donbas disrupted the meeting which began in Minsk, as First Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's representative to the Trilateral Contact Group Iryna Gerashchenko referring to Ukraine’s representatives to the subgroup on her Facebook page.

“I have just received information from Minsk: Russia’s side has disrupted the session of the humanitarian and economic subgroups for made up reasons. Russia’s representatives refuse from working in a trilateral format in OSCE, blackmailing Ukraine with the demands “for direct dialogue with ORDLO (Separate Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, - ed.)” and wait for the results of Ukraine’s elections. They are catching the signals about “autonomy”, the visit of the future president to occupied Donetsk and Luhansk and the rest of Kremlin’s nonsense. It’s getting towards a revanche,” Gerashchenko wrote.
