Russia continues to transport military equipment to border with Ukraine

Russia continues to transport military equipment to the border with Ukraine. This was stated by analysts of the Russian investigative group Conflict Intelligence Team, as DW reports.

"Russia is transporting military equipment to the border of Ukraine in alarming quantities, and which can only with a stretch be explained by the rearmament of existing units," the statement said.

It is noted that the investigation team found new photos and videos on social networks, which show the movement of Russian troops and military equipment to the regions bordering Ukraine. In particular, it was possible to detect the transfer of new equipment in Voronezh region, as well as the movement of echelons from Stavropol to the annexed Crimea.

The transfer of troops is slow, but if this rate is maintained until January, the total danger on Ukraine's borders will exceed that of April, when Russia also amassed equipment.

Analysts predict that under such conditions, a probable offensive by Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine will be possible not earlier than the beginning of next year.

As you know, during the month, the Western media regularly publish information about the concentration of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border.

Earlier, US intelligence revealed Russia's plans for a possible military invasion of Ukraine, which may take place in early 2022. According to sources, it is a probable attack from the annexed Crimea, across the border from Russia and through Belarus.

As we reported, Politico published new satellite photos taken by Western experts on Monday confirm recent reports that Russia is again concentrating troops and military hardware on the border with Ukraine. The images were taken by Colorado-based US space technology company Maxar Technologies.

Later, Bloomberg published the report of Janes Company, which states that Russia is moving tanks to the Ukrainian border. This time, observers noticed a battalion of T80-U tanks in the Voronezh region.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the information of Western mass media about the concentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine. According to him, "psychological pressure" from Russia on Ukraine has not been effective for a long time.
