Russia, China start joint sea drills near DPRK border

Russia and China started the joint sea drills near the border of DPRK as Reuters reported on September 18.

'The joint drills will take place at the territory between the Peter the Great Gulf not far from the border between Russia and North Korea and south part of the Sea Okhotsk to the north to Japan. The drills are the second part of the Chinese-Russian military sea drill this year and the first part took place in July in the Baltic', the massage said.

'A major anti-submarine ship 'Admiral Tributs', corvette 'Sovershenny', rescue ship 'Igor Belousov' with deep-submergence rescue vehicle 'AS-40" and missile boat 'R-11' will be employed at the sea phase from the Russian side. A destroyer 'Shi Jiazhuang', escort vessel 'Da Qing', replenishment ship 'Dong Ting', rescue ship of 926 project 'Changdao' with deep-submergence rescue vehicle 'Elar-7' will be employed from the Chinese side', as the Head of Information Assurance Department of the press service of the Eastern Military District on Pacific fleet Vladimir Matveev.

DPRK creates the tension in the international relationships by the numerous nuclear trials. The DPRK announced about the successful trial of the hydrogen bomb on September 3. The order to hold the trials was made by the leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un. The DPRK confirms that the trial of the hydrogen bomb did not lead to the radiation leak or any other negative influence on the environment.

The world society condemned the actions of North Korea. The President of US Donald Trump claimed that Washington considers the possibility to stop the trade relations with any country that cooperates with DPRK, despite the strengthening sanctions. Also, Trump did not exclude the use of the nuclear weapons by the US against Pyongyang.

At the same time permanent representative of the US in UN Nikki Haley claimed that the US can come over to the military actions against DPRK. According to her, the US got to the end of the UN Security Council's tethers and this issue can be sent over to the Pentagon.
