Volodymyr Ruban, the head of Ukrainian center for prisoners release, called the annulling of the pass to ATO zone by SBU a small payback. He said in a commentary to Hromadske.

"This is vengeance for Nadiya Savchenko — it’s very small, very subtle," Ruban said.

He also noted that he was not notified about the fact directly, but through his computer. "They could not say it in my face, as they would have to remember our conversations about Ilovaisk, Debaltseve and other prisoners exchanges which were not carried out by SBU successfully, sometimes they even ended with deaths," Ruban said.

He also informed that today’s prisoners exchange was disrupted as it was outside Minsk agreement and he did not manage to get to that territory.

As it was reported earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has revoked the permit for Volodymyr Ruban, the head of Ukrainian center for prisoners release, to cross the line of delimitation.
