The journalists of ZiK, NewsOne and 112 Ukraine TV channels illegally closed by President Volodymyr Zelensky united to create a new Pershiy Nezalezhniy (First Independent) TV channel that will inform the audience about events in Ukraine. Presenter Rostyslav Sukhachov commented on the situation.

“Personal preferences of particular politicians should not influence the media space of our state. We are the journalists and we want to work and deliver information about in what state we live, do it within the law and the Constitution of Ukraine,” Sukhachov said.

He specified that the journalists of three TV channels are ready to provide time at the air to the representatives of any political parties and give the word to representatives of any political force.

“We stand for free and truly independent Ukraine. Freedom of speech is the pledge of democratic values in the European country,” Rostyslav Sukhachov underlined.

Soon, the viewers will be able to watch the channel on TV screens, and not only on YouTube. Webcast of the TV channel is available on the website pnk.tv.

The new TV channel will broadcast on ASTRA-4A satellite, 5°E. It can also be found on the largest cable networks of the service providers Volia, Triolan and other operators. The faces of Pershiy Nezalezhniy will be all the figures that are iconic and familiar to the viewer of the TV channels closed by Zelensky. The list includes Diana Panchenko, Pavlo Kuzheev, Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, Vasyl Apasov, Yuriy Bibik, Andriy Lashch, Rostyslav Sukhachov and others.
