Ukraine's Embassy in Australia informed on the results of Ukrainians' foreign voting in the second round of presidential elections. Data regarding Ukrainians in Australia is reported by the Embassy press service on Facebook.
"We share with you the results of voting of Ukrainians in Australia.
In general, 99 people took part in the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
72 of them supported Petro Poroshenko.
26 supported Volodymyr Zelensky.
One ballot was found invalid.
Thanks to everyone who arrived in Canberra today to take part in the voting.
Thanks to the District Electoral Commission for coordinated and professional work," the embassy officials wrote.
U.S. Embassy to Ukraine expects peace and democratic elections of the president in Ukraine, as Embassy’s Facebook reported citing American Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.
“My colleagues and I at the U.S. Embassy join the people of Ukraine in expecting democratic and peaceful elections today that reflect the will of Ukraine’s citizens. I hope all eligible Ukrainians actively participate in their democracy today by voting,” she said.
