Ukraine’s Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories paid $ 71 thousand material aid to citizens of Ukraine who were imprisoned as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, as well as to those who are still in Russian captivity. This is reported by the Ministry for Reintegration on its website.
The families of 20 Ukrainian citizens, who are still imprisoned, received financial assistance of $ 3,558.
In addition, three more Ukrainian citizens released from Russian captivity received the same amount of money.
"Earlier, it was decided to allocate material aid to the" Kremlin captives "and the families of Ukrainians imprisoned in Russian prisons. Another 50 applications received by the Ministry from those imprisoned or their families will be considered at the next meeting," the statement informs.
The Interdepartmental Commission has already allocated $ 3,558 to the families of 10 Ukrainian citizens illegally imprisoned by the Russian Federation. Also, 18 Ukrainian citizens released from Russian captivity received the same amount.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine’s Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories is now working on a 25-year strategic program on the reintegration of Donbas.
"Indeed, my ministry is currently preparing a strategic program for 25 years because I believe that the full reintegration will not take place in the foreseeable future. It does not matter who will be the minister or MP at that time, we must all think strategically," Minister for Reintegration stated.
