Red Cross sends 160 tons of construction materials to occupied Donbas

Eight trucks with humanitarian aid arrived in the temporarily occupied territories

The International Committee of the Red Cross directed 160 tons of construction materials to the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, reports the press office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS).

‘Eight trucks with construction materials with the total weight of 160 tons headed through Novotroitske entry-exit checkpoint to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in the direction of Donbas. The humanitarian freight is provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross,’ the SBGS reported.

As it was reported earlier, the Red Cross designs humanitarian projects for Bakhmut Hospital and the entry-exit checkpoint in Donetsk region. It is to be implemented by 2020 and $2 million is to be spent for the project.
