Rally "Who ordered Handziuk?" held in Kyiv

Social activists held a rally “Who ordered Handziuk?” near the President’s Administration and near the office of “Fatherland” party, as RBK Ukraine reported.

“Around 50 people came to “Fatherland” leader Yuliya Tymoshenko and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko demanding to bring to justice the members of their parties for cooperation in the murder of Handziuk, social activist,” the message says.

The activists lighted icon lamps and flares chanting: “Who ordered Katya Handziuk?” The representatives of the political party showed up and they started arguing.

On November 4, it became known that Kateryna Handziuk died aged 34. She was doused with sulphuric acid in July last year. According to preliminary information, the death was caused by thrombus detachment.

Besides, the official reason for the death of Handziuk was specified. It was multiple organ failure and chemical burns. 

On November 12, the court arrested suspect in Handziuk case, Igor Pavlovsky.
