Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko decided to exclude Andriy Artemenko from the faction. This was reported by Oleh Lyashko.

"After the discussion held by the Radical party faction it was decided to exclude Andriy Artemenko from the faction list. Second decision, we asked Artemenko to give up his mandate," he wrote.

He also explained the reasons for deputy’s exclusion.

"I can explain why we took such measure. Initiatives, presented by Artemenko, deeply contradict the position of the Radical Party. Still after signing "Minsk-1" and "Minsk-2" position of our faction and team is no different. Minsk agreement contradicts national interests of Ukraine. The only possibility to stop Putin is being strong. We can’t trade neither territories, nor state sovereignty," Lyashko said.

According to the faction leader, his team is being discredited and occasion with Artemenko is one of these defamation elements.

"There is a strong campaign to discredit our team in the information space today, and I assume that the publications of our former party member are also a part of this campaign," he noted.

As it is known, MP from the Radical Party Andriy Artemenko developed the concept of making peace between Russia and Ukraine, and the lifting of sanctions from Moscow. His plan was transferred to an adviser of US President Donald Trump, Michael Flynn shortly before his retirement.

He suggested the withdrawal of Russian troops from the east of Ukraine and conducting a nationwide referendum to submit Crimea to Russia for lease by 50 or 100 years.

In addition, Artemenko allegedly provided evidence of corrupt activities of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, which included the names of the companies and the number of bank transfers. In his opinion, this should help to shift Poroshenko from his post and to bring the new government to Kyiv that will be not so hostile towards Russia.
