Ukrainian Parliament to include MPs drawdown into agenda during first session

Lawmakers want to consider 60-70 important bills during the first meeting

The Verkhovna Rada intends to include the drawdown of the deputy corps up to 300 MPs into the agenda of the first working day, as LB.ua news agency reports.

"...there will definitely be the withdrawal of parliamentary immunity draft law and the bill about the drawdown of the number of MPs from 450 to 300 lawmakers," the message reads.

The bil on the local elections in Kyiv may be considered as well. 

Besides, MPs plan to submit amendments for the Constitution of Ukraine.

Generally, legislators want to consider 60-70 important draft laws during the first session. 

It is mentioned that the majority will be built in the parliament and the work of all the committees would begin on August 29. 

The introduction of a candidate for the post of the Prime Minister could take place on the same day. 

It is expected that the parliamentary session will last until late evening or night.
