Lviv will tighten quarantine restrictions from October 18 in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This was announced by Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi on his Telegram page.

"The meeting of the city commission on emergency situations has just ended. From October 18, Lviv will live according to new quarantine rules," Sadovyi wrote.

In particular, the new rules will affect schools, shops, restaurants, cinemas, gyms, etc.

All schoolchildren go on a two-week vacation until November 1st.

It is forbidden to hold mass events, except for those where the organizers and participants will have a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test done 72 hours before the event.

Theaters, cinemas, museums and galleries are open only for visitors who have a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test. The number of visitors is not more than 50% of the total number of places.

Industrial, food markets and shops, shopping centers, hairdressers and beauty salons: only vaccinated workers or those with a negative PCR test can work.

Food establishments work only under the condition of 100% vaccination or PCR tests for workers when filling of no more than 50%, up to 4 people at a table. Opening hours - until 23:00.

Hotels and hostels work only if all employees have a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test result.

Meanwhile, the red quarantine zone is about to be imposed in Kherson region on October 15.
