Quarantine introduced in Odesa over Covid-19

Odesa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov ordered to suspend the work of all public places, except for groceries and pharmacy shops. The press office of the local city council reported that.

"In order to stop the spread of the morbidity of the ARVI, caused by Covid-19 coronavirus, Odesa city mayor signed the decree (...)", reads the message.

Since midnight March 16, all cinemas, theaters, museums, galleries, libraries, gyms, swimming pools, shopping malls, stadiums, zoos, restaurants, cafes, and bars are temporarily closed - until further notice.

Recently, simiar restrictions were imposed in Lviv - except for groceries, pharmacy shops and gas stations.

Earlier, Ukrainian Railways stopped the international traffic across Ukraine; Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy reported this on his Facebook page. He clarified that the running of trains stops from March 17 until the end of the quarantine period caused by the outbreak of coronavirus, or until the adoption of relevant government decrees.
