Quarantine in Ukraine may end in the spring, if most Ukrainians are vaccinated against Covid-19 before the New Year. Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko announced that during the 5th International Forum Creative Ukraine 2021.
“If we are vaccinated before the New Year, in the spring we will be able to live in peace, without quarantine restrictions,” Lyashko said.
However, according to the head of the Ministry of Healthcare, even vaccinated people now have to wear masks and keep the social distance, because many people in Ukraine are still not vaccinated. And even a person who has been vaccinated can carry the pathogen.
“When we vaccinate a large number of people, then we will consider removing masks,” he added.
As it was reported earlier, all regions of Ukraine moved to the yellow quarantine zone on September 23.
On September 22, 2021, 144,768 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Ukraine Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 6,527,042 people have been vaccinated, of which 6,527,040 received one dose, 5,299,317 people were fully immunized and received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad). A total of 11,826,357 vaccinations were performed.
