“The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the action of quarantine and emergency situation due to the coronavirus until April 30, 2021, and it returns adaptive quarantine…The decision will come into force in a week, from February 24,” Honcharenko wrote.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian authorities intend to introduce adaptive quarantine next week. Various restrictions will be established depending on the epidemic situation in the regions. There are four levels of epidemic danger, each of which has clear restrictions and criteria.
Besides, Representative of the government at the parliament, MP Vasyl Mokan noted that the ‘yellow’ zone will act as standard; in case of the deterioration of the situation, the zone will be changed to ‘orange’ according to the proper decision of the regional commissions.
The ‘red’ zone will be introduced in case of heavy load on the health care system, in fact, the same restrictions as during lockdown in January.
The ‘green’ zone provides abolition of the restrictions and returns to normal life before the quarantine.
