The annual speech of Russian President for the Federal Assembly took place today, on December 1. Putin mentioned about sanctions and ways to use this situation to  the advantage.

"Two years ago we were faced some challenges ... sanctions, however, the main reasons of problems in economy - are our internal problems," Putin said.

"Agriculture sector feeds the country ... but there are no gardens without its weeds. Sanctions were imposed on us - we have helped our inner market. It is necessary to use this situation, but with agricultural products export gives us more than the weapons sale," - he said.

Exports of agricultural products will give $ 16.9 billion to Russia in 2016, he added.
