Ukrainian President Commissioner on Crimean Tatar people affairs Mustafa Dzhemilev could meet with his son Haisser not today, but as early as 2014, if he made a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by First Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Iryna Рerashchenko on Facebook.
"Very few people know it, but Putin proposed Dzhemilev release of his son as early as 2014 and also entry into the occupied Crimea in exchange for loyalty. Mustafa refused. When this terrible family tragedy happened, Mustafa and his family told police about it, he did not use his connections. This is an example of courage and sincerity ", she said.
Herashchenko noted that Dzhemilev fought for his son, and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in conversation with Putin raised the issue of the transfer of Dzhemilev Jr. to Ukraine and asked for his release.
"Thank God, Dzhemilev family is now together. Thanks to everyone involved and not indifferent."She added.
