President of Russia Vladimir Putin has asked German Chancellor Angela Merkel to influence Kyiv for the fulfillment of all commitments on Donbas as Putin stated during the press conference.

“It is disturbing that in Ukraine a number of laws and bylaws were adopted, which contradict Minsk Agreements. It seems that the leadership of this country has refused the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbas. Due to this fact, we ask the federal chancellor, considering the upcoming visit in Kyiv, to influence the Ukrainian side concerning the fulfillment of all earlier taken commitments,” Putin said.
