It is planned to restrict public transport movement and close kindergartens in Lviv, as Lviv City Council reported citing City Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
“Today, at the headquarters we will discuss the issue of enhancing the quarantine. The issue is opened on the closing of kindergarten and public transport,” Sadovyi said.
He noted that it is a complex decision; however, despite lockdown acting in the city, the dynamics of the incidence do not decline.
According to him, 1,000 out of 1,300 beds for patients are occupied in Lviv. He stated that the task is to have 2,000 beds.
Earlier, the quarantine was restricted in Lviv. Then, the work of non-food markets, food establishments (despite online order or take-out), shopping malls, entertainment facilities and nightclubs was restricted. Besides, mass events were banned.
The enhanced quarantine was extended in Lviv until April 4.
As we reported, quarantine restrictions may be hardened during the lockdown in Kyiv. Kindergartens may be shut down, and even a halt of public transport traffic is possible.
