All 179 people deceased, when Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines crashed in the southern part of Tehran on Wednesday morning. The airport's administration claimed that an engine caught fire.
According to Deputy Head Ibrahim Tajik, about 40 search and rescue teams fled to the crash site.
Mansur Darajati, the managing office director of Tehran governor who is responsible for anti-crisis management in the country, told IRNA that about 140 passengers were Iranians. The official added that the local rescue services completed the search operation when searching for the bodies.
Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines (flight PS752) crashed in Tehran on January 8. According to Ukraine's Premier Oleksiy Honcharuk, there were 167 passengers and nine crew members aboard. President Zelensky reported that all those aboard perished.
Iranian rescue services found a flight recorder. It has already been transferred to Iranian law enforcement agencies for further consideration.
