“…we would like to add the free roaming to our visa-free regime, which almost three million Ukrainians have used. It is the thing all European states enjoy and what the Ukrainians miss. You can see for yourself how high the prices are as soon as we cross the border of Ukraine. We would like the Ukrainians to have the free crossing and free communications,” Prystaiko said.
He added that Ukraine adopted the necessary laws for implementation of the so-called ‘industrial visa-free regime” within which Ukrainian companies would be able to supply the goods to the EU countries on the simplified procedures.
The Foreign Minister reminded that 62% of Ukrainian export go to a 500-million EU market.
At the meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Japan for its support and consideration of the visa-free regime.
Earlier the Minister of the Interior of Estonia, the chairman of the Conservative People’s Party Mart Helme, ordered to find out whether visa-free regime can be canceled for Ukrainian citizens who come to Estonia.
