President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on October 25, Ukrainians will be asked "five important questions" at polling stations during local elections that "they have never asked us before."
However, not everyone liked this idea, according to Pershyi.com.ua. The journalists from their own sources learned that at one of the polling stations in Mukachevo, law enforcement officers drew up a protocol on the illegality of Zelensky's poll. The voters argued their appeal to the police by the fact that such an initiative of the current president violates the Constitution of Ukraine.
The press service of the Mukachevo police confirmed the information, specifying that an investigative and operational group is now working on the spot.
Since midnight, law enforcement officers have been stopping buses that transported people to other cities for voting. This was announced during a briefing by the head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klimenko.
"From 12 pm we stop buses that travel to regions and transport people between polling stations, casting multiple votes in a technique known as "carousel" voting. Such cases were observed in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Kyiv. Two buses from Luhansk region with people who came to vote were stopped in Kyiv," Ihor Klimenko said.
He added that such buses were also detected in Odesa region. Russian citizen was orginizing such "carousels" there. People were offered $ 14 for voting. Later, the organizer was arrested.
