Protests under Rada turn into a march

Since October 17, supporters of Mikheil Saakashvili are rallying under the Ukrainian Parliament

Today a “March of indignant” is held in Kyiv, which is the continuation of the October 17 rally, which demanded a “big political reform”:  depriving Ukrainian lawmakers of parliamentary immunity, changing election law, and creating anti-corruption court.

While the MPs already voted for lifting the immunity, the anti-corruption courts are a little more complicated. However, there’s a draft law on the issue suggested by Bloc Petro Poroshenko. Political Party Samopomich says they’ll create a draft bill too if the President suggests his own draft bill.

As to the election reform, it has already been adopted.

The column is making a circle around the downtown Kyiv and is to return to the Rada at the end. Mikheil Saakashvili gave a speech at the beginning of the march.
