10:42, 20 June 2017

Protesters that gathered near the Presidential Administration, demand the impeachment of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the release of the ATO soldier and a member of ‘Revolutionary Right Forces’ organization Yuriy Zobolotny detained on June 15. This was reported by Commentaries.

The demonstration is headed by the leader of the Revolutionary Right Forces (RRP) Bronyslav Sukhy.

“The authorities are trying to suppress discontent among the soldiers of the ATO. Zabolotny became one of those whom the SBU detained without trial and investigation. We do not need such power," he said.

"We demand that President Poroshenko end the repressions against the patriots of Ukraine who fought for the territorial integrity and inviolability of the country and defended the dignity and rights of the civil society of our state. We demand to stop the practice of terror when telling the truth about the state of affairs in the country is a crime under article 109 of the Criminal Code. We demand honest reports to the public about the real losses of the Armed Forces and volunteer battalions in ATO and punish those responsible for these losses and lies, using which the authorities cover the self-sacrifice of thousands of our fighters. Impeachment to Poroshenko!” said the wife of the arrested soldier Sophia.

Zabolotny's mother Natalia added that her son “did not fight for Poroshenko and his money, but fought for his country, and for that he is now behind the bars."
