The protesters against embezzlement in the defense sector threw funeral wreaths and flowers at the cordon of security forces in front of the Presidential Administration in Kyiv, RBC Ukraine reports.

According to the report, several thousand people arrived at the rally.

After the rally on Independence Square, they marched to the building with a funeral march in memory of the victims of the armed conflict in Donbas.

Then the relatives of the dead fighters came to the reception of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, where they conveyed their demands to the head of state.

After that, the protesters threw mourning wreaths and flowers at security forces in front of the building.

"During the rally, one member of the police of communication accidentally suffered," the report stresses.

As we previously reported, today, about 2,000 people came to Independence Square at a rally against embezzlement in the defense sector. They demanded to prosecute the former First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Gladkovsky, his son Igor and other defendants in the so-called Ukroboronprom embezzlement case

Protesters called to arrest the accounts and property of the Gladkovsky family, as well as other participants in the embezzlement scheme at the Ukroboronprom state concern.

The rally participants demanded that offenders should be punished with maximum terms of imprisonment.

According to the speaker of the National Corps NGO Oleksander Alferov, such actions will take place until the demands of the protesters are heard.
