Around 70 activists of Kyiv Volunteer Hundred demanded Hungary to stop unfriendly policy and actions against Ukraine.
In particular, according to them, to stop funding and supporting anti-state events in Ukraine, to issue Ukrainian citizens Hungarian passports and agitate for teaching Ukrainians from Zakarpattia in Hungarian, as the news agency reports.
“We will have only one language on the land God gave us – Ukrainian. There should be Hungarian schools, but only in Hungary! In Ukraine, children will study only in their mother tongue – in Ukrainian!” the organizers of the protest explained.
The protesters brought an effigy to the Embassy. It represents Viktor Orbán, the PM of Hungary. The protesters tried to set the effigy on fire and then threw it to the ground and crush it.
