The Prosecutor General’s Office has called the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and former Head of the National Bank Serhiy Arbuzov, suspects as the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.
During the investigation in the criminal proceeding against ex-President Viktor Yanukovych, the prosecution notified former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov about the suspicion on the fact of complicity in unlawful seizing in very big amounts of liquefied gas, produced by Ukrgazdobycha and Ukrnafta. This brought $69 million losses to Ukraine.
The Former Head of the National Bank Serhiy Arbuzov was also informed that he is a suspect in seizing funds of Chernomorneftgaz in the amount of $115 million on buying two drilling rigs.
Lutsenko noted that they were put on the wanted list.
Apart from that, N. Ignatchenko and A. Frolova were detained as suspects in money laundering through controlled non-resident companies for the members of the organized criminal group.
