Prosecutor's Office finds security of armament depot in Kalynivka insufficient

The Military Prosecutor's Office finds the security of the armament depot of the Defense Ministry in Kalynivka (Vinnytsia regions) insufficient. Chief Military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios claimed this at the briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

'According to my invincible belief, the main reason is the rigidity of the system of the learning, allocation of funds and security. The General Staff of the Defense Ministry is responsible for that. Defense Minister Poltorak did everything to allocate money after the incident in Balakleiia with the president and prime minister and the funds started the bureaucratic procedure', Matios claimed.

'Neither enemy, circumstances nor weather conditions wait for the end of the bureaucratic procedure', he added.

As it was reported earlier, fire at the ammunition storages in Kalynivka of Vinnytsia region began at 22:00 on September 26. Ukraine’s Emergency Service cannot yet assess the scale of the incident (as of 23:30), But all the forces of the Emergency Service, including the leadership, have been raised in alarm.

The Military Prosecutor's Office of Central Region of Ukraine denies that fire occured due to the sabotage. The investigators work on four main versions.

Poroshenko claimed that the fires at the armament depots of Ukraine is a tendency that threaten the national security.
