The Prosecutor’s Office asks eight years in jail for Odesa activist Serhiy Sternenko with confiscation of property in old case when he was suspected of the kidnapping of a person to take his money in the sum of 300 hryvnias ($10) as Sternenko reported on Telegram.

“Eight years with confiscation of property for opposition to Trukhanov (Odesa Mayor, - 112.international)…I was suspected in the kidnapping of Shcherbych to take his funds in the sum of 300 hryvnias. Shcherbych is a party man and MP of Doviryai Spravam (Trust actions) and he is controlled by Mayor of Odesa Trukhanov. Trukhanov organized the contract killing of me three times and a number of criminal proceedings were opened for his orders. This is why Shcherbych wrote an application against me,” Sternenko wrote.
