The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (GPU) prepares suspicion to fifth president Petro Poroshenko due to power abuse as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing the source at the GPU.

“The projects of suspicion against ex-head of the state are actively prepared as well as against the number of former and current MPs,” the source.

However, the source did not specify the details, noting that the suspicion against Poroshenko concerns the abuse of power.

The agreement of the Verkhovna Rada is needed for prosecution of the lawmakers as well as the submission of the prosecutor general to the parliament.

As we reported, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine interviewed former Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko.

Earlier, the ex-President of Ukraine did not show up for the questioning at the State Investigation Bureau (SIB) as SIB Director Roman Truba reported.
