Prosecutor General’s Office extended investigation in Yanukovych treason case until end of March, - lawyer

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has extended the special pre-trial investigation against the former president, Viktor Yanukovych, until March 28, 2017. This was reported on air of "112 Ukraine" TV channel by his lawyer Vitaliy Serdyuk.

"The investigation has notified the defense that the investigation period has been extended until the end of March 28, 2017,” he said.

At the same, the lawyer he said that in order to consider Yanukovych informed of the suspicion, it must go through the proper delivery procedure using the authorized bodies of the Russian Federation, as the ex-president is now living there.

As it was reported earlier, lawyer of Viktor Yanukovych refused to accept revised suspicion of state treason.
