The Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine asked the National Police to put Mikheil Saakashvili on the wanted list. The proper order was passed to Sergy Knyazev, the head of the Ukrainian National Police. Andry Lysenko, the spokesperson of the Prosecutor’s General Office reported this at Facebook.
The Prosecutor’s Office reminded that Saakashvili escaped from the custody during his transportation for the questioning in the SBU.
As we reported Saakashvili was detained in the suspicion of the support of the criminal group in the organization of the criminal activity. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, Saakashvili financed the protests to take power for the funds of the allies of Viktor Yanukovych, the former president of Ukraine.
Saakashvili succeeded to release from the car of the law enforcers after a few failed attempts to pass him to the SBU. He made for the Ukrainian parliament right after the release.
