Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine held a briefing on the incident with the agent of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau that attempted to bribe the Dina Pimakhova, the First Deputy Head of the State Migration Service as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

Lutsenko claimed that the workers of the NABU had no right to offer the bribe the worker of the Migration Service.

‘I am completely assured that the workers of the state law enforcement do not have a right to offer the official to make a certainly illegal decision and expect that the official will announce a sum for it. It is a provocation’, he said.

According to the Prosecutor General, there are no suffered at the Migration Service.

‘I want to emphasize that the issue is that there is no complainant in the case. There was no person that claimed about the suffering from the corruption and no further criminal proceeding. There is only the information and NABU made an attempt to study the situation and find corrupted officials’.

Also, Lutsenko revealed that the workers of the NABU worked on three scenarios of bearing Pimakhova to the responsibility but they did not succeed.

Moreover, the Prosecutor General claimed that the Prosecutor General’s Office will charge Boyarsky with papers due to the incident.

‘We will charge him with papers today’, Lutsenko claimed. The issue of other suspected will depend on the testimony of the witnesses. Moreover, Prosecutor General commented on the information that seven workers of the NABU do not keep in touch with their governance.

‘The talks that someone captured the workers of the NABU and detain them do not correspond to the reality. We detained only one agent of the NABU that gave the testimony the whole night and continue to do this. There were no other detentions’.

At the same time, the Prosecutor General reported that two top officials of the NABU that coordinated the operation concerning Pimakhova will come to the Prosecutor General’s Office to witness on the case on December 4.

‘I got the information that the workers of the NABU that coordinated this operation and it is at least two top officials will come for the questioning on December 4. We do not plan any detention in this case’, he said.

Lutsenko also reported that the agents of the NABU illegally bugged the cell phones of about 100 people.

‘I do not know any case when the NABU suffered from the leak of the information due to the bugging that is executed in Ukraine only by the SBU. Moreover, the NABU violated the legislation when they took the information from the mobile terminals of 100 people without the permission of the court’.

As we reported earlier that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained the agent of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) during the attempt to bribe Dina Pimakhova, the First Deputy Head of State Migration Service.

Dina Pimakhova, the First Deputy Head of the State Migration Service revealed her version of the incident with the agent of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). According to her, Serhy Boyarsky, the NABU agent established the informal friendly relations with her and began to offer a bribe to legalize the foreigners.
