Maksym Papernyk, a prominent Ukrainian music video director died yesterday, on February 19, at the age of 47. This was reported by Gordon agency, with reference to his relatives.
Maksym Papernyk had cancer.
He was born in April 1969 and lived in Kyiv. Papernik graduated from cinema faculty of Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University with honors. Then he studied on the theatre directing faculty in the same university. He worked in the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine and became the most successful music video director in Ukraine.
He started filming television and feature films from 2003. Such musicals as “The Snow Queen”, “Catch two Hares”, “The Twelve Chairs”, and also musical and entertainment show “National star”, TV series “The Untouchables” are among his most famous works.
