The private medical establishment in Kyiv did not report on the confirmed case of coronavirus of a 50-year-old man who returned from Switzerland as 112 Ukraine reported citing Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko.

“Firstly, a man had a test at one of the private medical establishments of the capital; however, the center did not inform about the positive test neither patient nor the ministry, nor the Public Health Center. The diagnosis was confirmed and provided by the German laboratory, which appealed to us with the positive result,” Klitschko said.

The infected person stays in the self-isolation and gets medical assistance under the observation of the doctors.

Kyiv Mayor added that 291 people were tested for coronavirus in Kyiv. All tests are held on the recommendations of the doctors.

As we reported, the state of emergency may be soon declared in Kyiv. Besides, Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced a rally in support of the Italian republic, as the country is overwhelmed with the raging coronavirus.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the citizen of Chernivtsi recovered from coronavirus and became the first person free from Covid-19 in Ukraine.
