Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has changed a preventive measure for Head of Department at the President’s Office Svitlana Kondzelya, who was under a round-the-clock house arrest. Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced this as Ukrainian News agency reports.
Svitlana Kondzelya was put under night house arrest.
“The motion of the prosecutor was partially granted and the preventive measure in form of night house arrest was prolonged,” SAPO stated.
Supreme Anti-Corruption Court also extended the obligations imposed on Kondzelya, including the ban on traveling abroad.
As we reported earlier, NABU employees detained Svitlana Kondzelya, the Director of Department for Access to Public Information at the Presidential Office. The official is charged with fraud.
By agreement of the Specialized Anti-Corruption prosecutors, National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detectives notified the Head of one of the departments of the President’s Office, the ex-deputy minister of culture of Ukraine and their accomplice on suspicion.
