The Office of the President of Ukraine stated it had participated in the moderation of the Transformation Plan for Ukraine worth $227 billion, which was previously reported missing. Where the plan is now remains unknown, the Office responded to a request from Ukrainian News.
“The Office of the President of Ukraine was involved in moderating and structuring the proposals received from the ministries and central executive bodies for the formation of the Transformation Plan of Ukraine," the response said.
In addition, Zelensky's Office claims that the Plan includes projects offered by Ministries and executive bodies. The projects defined the purpose and volume of required investments, and their implementation was supposed to involve international partners.
At the same time, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they did not have the copies of the Transformation Plan of Ukraine. Moreover, in response to a request for such a copy from the Ministry of Economy, it was stated that the agency did not have such information.
The Foreign Ministry stated that “structural units of the ministry were not involved in the development of the Transformation Plan of Ukraine.”
As it was reported earlier, during visit to the USA on September 1, Zelensky presented the plan of transformation of Ukraine. Then Zelensky said that the document is a tool for developing strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States in the economy and contains specific joint economic and investment projects.
“The plan contains more than 80 projects; these are ambitious projects worth of 277 billion US dollars in total. They foresee funding from the state budget of Ukraine, as well as involvement of programs of international assistance, loans and investments,” said the President of Ukraine.
