The parties Servant of the People and Opposition Platform – For Life are leaders in the pre-election rating. The second one is getting closer to the presidential political force, as the research carried out by the Belgium-Ukraine Research Institute shows.
“The survey conducted on July 8-10, 2019 showed that the new Ukrainian parliament would consist of the following political parties: “Sluga Narodu” Party led by Dmytro Razumkov and backed by the newly elected President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy (40.3%), “Opposition Platform – Za Zhittya” led by Yuriy Boyko, Vadim Rabinovich, and Viktor Medvedchuk (15.0%), the “European Solidarnist” Party of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (7.9%), and the “Batkivschyna” Party of Yulia Tymoshenko (5.8%),” the results demonstrate.
The other parties have little chance to enter the Parliament: Golos 4,7%, Civil Position – 4,2%, Strength and Honor – 3,9%, Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko – 3,2%.
Besides, the experts paid attention to the following trends: “The “Sluga Narodu” Party led by Dmytro Razumkov: the highest level of support is accompanied with slight curtailment of its popularity. Experts claim that this downfall may stem from the latest appointments and public statements of Volodymyr Zelenskiy that partially disappoint his electorate”.
Opposition Platform – For Life has a stable positive dynamic as its leaders are very active publicly.
“The “European Solidarity” Party led by the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and “Batkivschyna” Party of Yulia Tymoshenko: general leveling of public support and neck-and-neck struggle for the overall third position after the voting,” the experts believe.
