The driver of Presidential Adviser Serhiy Shefir who was wounded in the recent attack drove to the village of Lisnyky and managed to park the car. An ambulance was called already after that. Head of the Kyiv regional prosecutor's office Oleksiy Khomenko reported about it on air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.

“The driver drove here on his own and parked the car, from where an ambulance was called,” Khomenko said.

The police confirmed that the car in which Shefir was driving in the direction of Kyiv, between the villages of Khodosivka and Lisnyky. According to the inspection, about 18 shots were fired at the car from an automatic weapon.

The prosecutor's office has not yet announced whether there is a video from the recorder.

As it was reported earlier, an unknown shooter opened fire on the car of Serhiy Shefir, first assistant of President of Ukraine. The incident occurred near Lisnyky village, Kyiv region. The official did not suffer any injuries. His driver, on the other hand was wounded in the assault.

The criminal case has been opened due to the attack with preliminary qualification as the attempted murder of two and more people.
