"Blatant" gamble with the settlement of conflict between Russia and Ukraine through leasing Crimea to Russian Federation is an attempt to discredit. This was reported by Kostiantyn Yelisieiev, the deputy of head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine, according to Ukrainian News.
"I draw attention to the statement of Ukrainian president that we are not trading our territory. Period. I hope that his (Andriy Artemenko - 112 International) colleagues in Verkhovna Rada and Ukrainian community will assess this blatant gamble," he said.
He also expressed surprise with the resonance initiated with the information of American edition of The New York Times that Artemenko handed Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser of US President Donald Trump, the plan to settle conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
"We are serious people and are not commenting on fakes," Yelisieiev claimed.
He added that Russia uses any methods to undermine situation in Ukraine from the inside and discredit it as a state, including presentation of the so-called shady "peace plans" on the media scene.
As it was reported earlier, Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko decided to exclude Andriy Artemenko from the faction.
Prior to that, MP from the Radical Party Andriy Artemenko developed the concept of making peace between Russia and Ukraine, and the lifting of sanctions from Moscow. His plan was transferred to an adviser of US President Donald Trump, Michael Flynn shortly before his retirement.
He suggested the withdrawal of Russian troops from the east of Ukraine and conducting a nationwide referendum to submit Crimea to Russia for lease by 50 or 100 years.
In addition, Artemenko allegedly provided evidence of corrupt activities of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, which included the names of the companies and the number of bank transfers. In his opinion, this should help to shift Poroshenko from his post and to bring the new government to Kyiv that will be not so hostile towards Russia.
