President of Ukraine Volodmyr Zelensky promises to take prompt action to release eight Ukrainian soldiers of the 53rd brigade captured in Donbas. As President’s Administration
reported, Zelensky was informed about the conditions of their capture.

The representatives of the press office stated that the investigation defined violations of control order over movement through the demarcation line by the personnel from Novotritske, Berezove-1 and Berezove-2 checkpoints.
Zelensky stressed that everything possible will be done to return imprisoned soldiers.
“We will act as fast as possible and effective to release our guys,” he said.
Eight servicemen of the Ukrainian military ended up in captivity in Donbas.
The names of the Ukrainian servicemen who accidentally entered the uncontrolled Ukrainian territories and were captured on May 22, were made public.
Earlier, officials of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) said that Donbas conflict became less tense after the inauguration of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
