President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has approved the new membership of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) as the presidential website reported.
Zelensky amended the membership of the NSDC by his order. Particularly, Zelensky himself became the NSDC Chairman.
First Deputy Chairman of Security Service and Head of Chief Department on Fight against Corruption and Organized Crime Ivan Bakanov, Head of the Presidential Administration Andry Bohdan, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Danylyuk, Finance Minister Oksana Markarova, Deputy Heads of the Presidential Administration Vadym Prystaiko and Ruslan Ryaboshapka and General Staff Head Ruslan Khomchak made the new line-up of the NSDC.
Besides, ex-Head of the Presidential Administration Ihor Rainin, ex-Secretary of the NSDC Oleksandr Turchynov, ex-Head of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko and Information Policy Minister Yuriy Stets were removed from the membership.
This law comes into force as soon as it is published.
On May 28, the video of National Security and Defense Secretary Oleksandr Danylyuk was published. He stated about the disappearance of the servers with secret information from the situation room at the presidential administration.
The criminal proceeding is registered due to the loss of the documents, which contain the state secret as it led to the grave consequences.
The SIB investigators hold the priority investigative actions, which aim to comprehensive, fully and objective investigation of the circumstances of the crime.
Besides, former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov stated that Danylyuk’s video does not concern the National Security and Defense Council. It was shot in separate rooms of the Presidential Administration in Ukraine.
