President Zelensky dismisses 15 governors

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed 15 heads of regional state administrations, as 112 Ukraine reported citing Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Ruslan Ryaboshapka.

The proper orders appeared on the website of the head of the state.

“Concerning the dismissal of the governors. Today, the first part of the submissions on the dismissal of the heads of the regional state administrations was received from the Cabinet of Ministers. I will read out only about regions: Head of Chernihiv region (Oleksandr Mysnyk), Head of Khmelnytsky region (Vadym Lozovy), Head of Kherson region (Dmytro Butry), Head of Ternopil region (Stepan Barna), Head of Sumy region (Mykola Kolochko), Head of Poltava region (Roman Tolsty), Head of Odesa region (acting head is suspended), Head of Mykolaiv region (Oleksy Savchenko), Head of Lviv region (Oleg Synyuta), Head of Kirovograd region (Sergy Kuzmenko), Head of Kyiv region (Oleksandr Tereshchuk), Head of Ivano-Frankivsk region (Oleg Goncharuk), Head of Zaporizhia region (Kostyantyn Bryl), Head of Zakarpattia region (Gennady Moskal) and Head of Volyn region (Oleksandr Savchenko)”, Ryaboshapka noted.

On June 11, the Administration of the President announced about a number of personnel actions. Thus, Zelensky appointed Vladyslav Bukharev as Chairman of Foreign Intelligence Service.

The heads of the Security Service of Ukraine were dismissed in five regions: Odesa, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia. The reason for it is the involvement in the smuggling.

Besides, Zelensky signed the submission to the Verkhovna Rada on the dismissal of Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko.
