President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda in a telephone conversation congratulated Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky on the win of his party in snap parliamentary elections. Gitanas Nauseda wrote this on his Twitter page.

“Phone call with President Zelensky. Congratulating him on winning the elections and wishing strength to work responsibly for the wellbeing of his people and country. We discussed bilateral relations, regional security and the successful Lithuanian-Ukrainian cooperation in the EU and NATO,” the message says.

As it was reported earlier, snap parliamentary elections in Ukraine are over now. Polling stations have been closed, so sociological agencies now publish their results. See the final results of exit polls: who won the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The Ambassadors of the G7 countries also called elections to the Verkhovna Rada, which took place in Ukraine on July 21, competitive and those held in compliance with fundamental rights and freedoms.
