“We had some time to talk about Ukraine. I am going to visit the country in a few weeks and, as I understand, some practical initiatives and practical work are being done, so I will support this development,” Niinistö said.
It stands to mention that the Ukrainian President’s Office did not inform about the visit of the Finnish President yet.
Previously Zelensky thanked the Finnish Ambassador for the support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and help in the reforming of school education.
Earlier Sauli Niinistö said that the Donbas Conflict was the biggest problem on the European continent.
"We pay close attention to all events that take place in Ukraine and with the deepest condolence, we consider that the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine continues and the people suffer. This crisis is the biggest problem on the European continent", Niinistö noted.
