President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen is to visit Ukraine in the middle of March, and representatives of business will also be a part of the delegation, as Ukraine’s Presidential Administration informed, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
“The agreement on the visit of the President of Austria to Ukraine in the middle of March was key (during Poroshenko’s visit to Austria). It will be an official visit,” as Deputy Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Administration Kostiantyn Yelisieiev told Inter.
“It has also been agreed that in its politics, Austria, which will have Presidency of the Council of the European Union starting July 1, will help us integrate into the EU over time,” he added.
Yelisieiev also said that a big business forum will be held during the Austrian President’s visit, as he is to travel with a powerful delegation of businessmen. The forum is to be opened by both Presidents.
